Anne Blight lives in an unassuming bungalow on the outskirts of Bristol. In the bungalow she houses the UK’s largest single collection of buttons. She estimates that she has anywhere between 250,000 to 500,000 buttons. Every drawer, shelf and free space in Anne’s house is crammed with buttons of every shape, make, material, colour, pattern and size. I photographed Anne for daughter, Molly, who was producing a book about her for the final project of her degree in graphic design.
